Last week our maths focus was on measuring. The children really enjoyed measuring each other!

We have been finding out about how the Chinese New Year is celebrated. We made our very own chinese dragon and today went on a dance and parade around the school. It was great fun!

Today we started our 'It's not a box!' project based on the book by Antoinette Portis. The children have been busy, working together to turn their cardboard boxes into a wide range of imaginative things- from a fairy house to a skeleton body, to a television, or even a toilet! They have even managed to make their boxes talk! Watch their videos...

Exploring the Autumn leaves- sorting them by colour and size, seeing how many we could catch at once,finding and describing our favourite leaf... Then taking some back to the classroom for painting, printing and crafting!
